Hi Members,

206 Info is now offically on Facebook!

We have setup a facebook 'page' for 206Info which will highlight all the upcoming shows and events with linkbacks to the fourm to keep you upto date with the going's on of 206Info.

It was decided to do this due to the vast ammount of information flying around on the forum meaning that it's easy to miss an important show or meet update in a thread.

We will also use this to keep you upto date with whats going on at shows that you are not attending so everyone will always feel connected with a show.

This is not going to be a replacement, side-step, or alternative to 206Info, it's just another addon that we now have, see it somewhat as a miniblog Wink

The link to our Facebook Page is : www.facebook.com/206info

Regards,
206Info Staff.

Right, I'm getting asked this wayyyy too much so here's an update.

Yes, 206 Info is already ON facebook however; the group page your thinking of is a 'group discussion' page which was kindly made by the Howey's (Georgie and James) when 206info had server failure (Due to the hosts not ourselfs) which is completely different from the page listed above.

The 'page' isnt a discussion board like the other one (As we obviously have the forum back) the page is more of a profile, kind of like your own facebook profile, but obviously for 206info, it's going to be used to keep people upto date with things happening on info.

Also it will be used for important updates that you may not see on the forum (due to the mass of information flying around here it's sometimes hard to spot an important update in a thread) for example the post that was made earlier on the new Facebook page about the avalibility of the extra Fast Show stand passes - those that want to go but think it's full wont be keeping an eye on the thread so they'd miss out if it wasnt for something like the facebook page..

This isnt a 'replacement' as I've been asked, for the current Facebook Group it's a completely seperate and unrelated Page, although they are both hosted on Facebook they're used for completly unrelated reasons and should not be confused with one another.

Regards,
Ste.
