i have a 1.4 206,garage had it for 4 wks trying to identify and sort cutting out problem, first they said electric fan on radiator wasn`t working(it was) ,they replaced a relay and said thats it sorted,it wasn`t,auto electrician found some electrics in harness had oxygenised and replaced them, then said he`d traced fault to ecu, this was sent off to be tested, and came back as knackered, having read through some of the posts on here i`m finding it hard to believe them, so if you can bear with me i`ll explain original fault, car still starts first time everytime,if i drive say half a mile it will will cut out without any warning, sometimes starting straight away other times it can take up to 20 mins, same distance again same thing, but some days it will run with no problems at all,can some of you guys help find a soution as i`ve spent a small fortune on this now, thanks in advance.
if it ain`t broke don`t pay to get it fixed
