as title - i have an annoying boot rattle back again, i did try putting tape on the catch/latch but due to using my boot alot it's worn away again....
....just wondered if anyone had found a better/long lasting solution?

adjust the catch a bit
loosen off the torx (iirc) move it up or down a tiny bit, retighten see what happens,

This and make sure you actually have both bolts for some reason, I didn't.

this might be a stupid question, but where's the best place to get a new boot catch? I have the same problem, it's so frekin annoying

Any Peugeot main dealer, they have these things called part's department, walk in there & speak to the person behind the desk
If you know the part number you need you can even pay a visit to a Citroen main dealer if there nearer
