just a few question regarding a v reg XS

currently the abs light is on, the breaks are faulty and need changing, will this be the reason? also were is the abs bit located in engine? i though it was behind the ns light but there's only a plug there??

airbag light is flashing, the drivers has a broken wire so i take it thats probably the fault, but the passenger has no air bag, there is a thing that looks like the air bag but its empty (also has no air bag writing on it like one out my old car) also has no passenger air bag control on the right hand pannel.

ppt30 i did the fix as light wasnt working, but only displays this......

is it just a replace job or is there a fix,

thanks ben Very Happy

The ABS ECU should be behind the passengers headlamp. Maybe he removed it?

If there is no 'Airbag' or 'SRS' stamped in the dash then there is no airbag there. Does it have the de-activator switch? If no, then it will be the drivers at fault.

Needs replacing, unless you can find somewhere that sells the replacement crystal gel thats in the MFD screen

thanks ben Very Happy

What's the VIN, I'll look it up?

Nah it doesn't cause any problems you just don't have ABS Laughing

If I come to the Fast Show, I could always turn the ECU off in the BSI and engine so that the light would go off.

VIN needs checking to see if the car should have ABS fitted first though else you will get in bother come mot time.

You need to fix the broken wire for the drivers airbag, hopefully the light will go out then.
