Hi
Does anyone know if the clutch can be adjusted on a 1999 206 gti 138.Reason I ask is that the biting point seems much higher than what it was previously. It almost at the end of the clutch travel. It also seem to judder a bit when releasing the clutch.
Thanks

clutch is at the end of its working life
the judder and high pedal biting point indicates that the friction plate is almost completely worn down, sooner or later a new clutch will be needed which will put the biting point back lower again. it might get rid of the judder, it might not, some have suggested that a new flywheel is needed to get rid of clutch judder.
in answer to your question, i believe that the clutch pedal can be adjusted with a screw of some sorts on the pedal, this was being discussed in a thread just the other day. im sure another member will verify this soon.

how many miles have you done on the clutch, 2 years is pretty quick for it to wear if its NOT your driving lol. but thats really the only reason why the pedal would get higher over time
