It more than likely won't.
What linkages are you getting? Make sure they are for the MA gearbox, as the majority that are sold are for the BE |
To be honest mate I don't know the differance between the gearbox's, I have been recommended these
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay..._925wt_905
But if you know any better please share , I'm hoping by installing these and the quickshift i will at least make the gear change's a bit more pleasant. |
I had those and a griffiths quikshift, ended up chewing the diff in the gearbox....on an xsi

It was you that I spoke to a while ago about it , A few people have said though that the griffiths is not that bad on my model 206, But someone did say they are not that good on the GTI or the 180, I may be mistaken but I need to do something because my gearbox is doing my nut in. Only thing about the car I can't stand.

you wouldn't be able to just buy the bottom end of the engine.
you will have to buy the whole engine and then remove the cylinder head.

The quikshift on its own made a massive difference, i then cut an inch off the gearstick and it felt really close and postive through the changes. I then added the stainless rods and within 2 weeks the diff was stuffed. They were measured exactly the same as the old rods aswell.Could of been a coincidence but who knows.

C2 VTS inlet manifold has a much better flow than any inlet manifold on the J4 or JP4 engine
