Hiya so I was cleaning the car at the weekend and noticed someone has knocked my passenger door a few times with their door, they're not deep and not cracked the paint or anything. So I'm wondering the best way of popping them back out?

I've read some crazy methods on Google lol... can't find anything on search here either, so any ideas?

I've also heard you can get a special plunger thingy that'll do it? lol, they're not huge, but big enough to annoy me.

I have a dent like that in my wing, a shame I haven't had the time in the daylight to take it some where to get it sorted before Fast Show. 
I tried one of those 'dent removal' plungers, just a cheap one and it did nothing
I'm curious to see the answer here, I hope some one can confirm it would be fixed with PDR, I really don't want to shell out for a localised respray

Yeah Dave that was one of those on the ehow, seen it on a few different websites. IDK Whether it's worth giving it a go or not, don't want to ruin my paintwork o.O

I came across a video once that tested condensed air and a hairdryer and it did nothing on shallow dents

Have you tried Dent Devils. My mates garage use them and he says they are pretty reasonable. Might be worth getting them out to do a quote, see how they say they will do it then have a go yourself if it is possible. In the old days it would have been rolled out using a metal block

I've read about the compressed air over on DetailingWorld, there's a debate whether it leaves paint marring or not so I think I'll skip that one! 
Na not tried any companies yet Macca, thought I'd see if I could do it myself first
Will give them a go if it becomes that unbearable, ta.

I did the hairdryer thing with my last car and it worked but once it cooled back down it popped back. Think it depends on how shallow the dent is and also how long the dents been there.

it was quite big (about 5 inches wide), i dont think it will do the tiny ones as they are more difficult to pop back.
I might try it though as iv got a couple of tiny dents on mine. Best to do it after cars been parked in the sun as takes ages to warm it up properly.

No problem they price it with a guide system. I work there and off the top of my head i think in the small print if the dents are all on one panel you pay for the biggest but they do them all. Thy measure from the centre to he edge like a radius. If you get a quote make sure you check as some employees don't know. I only know as I looked into it hard to get mine quote but it was too big. I'm 80% sure about the combo panel thing by check might be under th scratch bit or something not the dent bit.
