Just wondering if anybody has attmepted a HDi conversion I have a 1.9D and its toooooooo slow lol been thinkin alot about doing a 2.0HDi DW10 conversion, just want to know if anyone has tried this or converted to anything similar?? cheers guys

can you get the complete engine, gearbox, turbo, exhaust manifold, ecu+wire loom cheap?

Not worth it mate, might as well just buy a 2.0HDi, the only point (in my mind) for doing an engine conversion is if were planning on putting a 2.2 406 engine in it or something better, you could probably get your 1.9D engine bored out to 2.0 but without a turbo you're going nowhere slow

who want a 2.2 HDi if you can get a V6

I thought the 2.2 was the V6, I just double checked and it was the 3 litre diesel that was a V6, pretty easy to put in the 2.0HDi as is my understanding, I heard someone say it was almost a direct replacement, not sure how true that is

but aint most of the said engines plexed cars?? Mine is pre plex so wouldnt that pose a small problem?

you would be chaging the ecu , the engine loom and anything else so doesnt matter what your car is at the moment.

i remember someone did drop the 1.9 turbo into the 1.9D 206
