Not really a fan of these cars but a good project at a reasonable price. Is there no-where else to put the front registration plate as where it is (i know its standard for this mk) is horrendous it would look better down the front somewhere. |
There are a couple of holes in the bumper lower than where the plate currently is.
Maybe a square one offset in the lower corner would look better. |
Yea the square offset one like you see on RX8 and S2000's sometimes would look sweet. It could turn into a very nice car if a fair amount is spent. Are you planning on keeping it or just gonna do it up a bit and then sell it on?

It'll be interested to see the project unfold because as it stands it looks like a bit of a shed
Any idea where it was first registered, as there's a Mazda dealership just down the road in Bognor and loads of cars round here have JOT on the reg plate.

Planning on giving Mazda a call tomorrow to find out the service history.
I'll find out that too.

Took it out for a little test drive earlier.
Really drives very well, can't fault the gearbox or engine

Oredered a genuine cambelt kit from Mazda, £38
Another plus is that changing the belt can be done in under an hour (in theory )
