Okies, I know alot of ppls are against these but anyways...
What is with some cheap cone filters and their standard tone?
I have had two different cheap ones on my GTi 138 and neither of them have made any difference, noise wise to the standard airbox and Halfrauds panel filter.

Just put this on my car today, its only temporary and doesn't seem to be picking up any heat soak which is a bonus.

I'm just curious as to why some don't make any extra noise and some do.

Its only gonnabe in the car a week or so. Anyways please no comments on what you think of cones as this isn't the point in the thread

i havent personally noticed much different but now i have been cammed i think a decent one will be orderd

always cone, always cheap. 4 pound a cone filter or a proper >80 pound green cone filter. 20 times difference seems really steep lol

K&N filter in airbox would be best
