Hey guys,i've been driving the 206 since december, but it was previously my brothers. "TofuD" which is now in its time to service, but i am at the point in need to change the brake disc+pad, exhaust and the catalytic converter.
Would you guys say its worth doing it on a 1.1 S which is an 04 plate?? Or would you say its best to exchange it for a different car?

And my 206 has different bonnet and rear lights and the sun visor in driver side is gone, would peugeot or other dealers take it for exchange??

I am still a new driver, but i have had my licence for 6 months now and been driving since december till now.

Whats your thoughts on this situation guys??

Thanks

Quite a lot of money to do though really lol servicing it is £99 on its own, getting the brake and pads replace is £140 or something and no idea about exhaust and catalytic converter,i would love to switch to another 206 but a 1.4l+ or a 307 lol.
Not to mention i got a major dent in passenger front wing panel aswell which needs replacing too.

do the sparks and oil yourself, a replacement wing would be about £20 from scrappies for the same colour nd is only 4 or 5 bolts which is easy enough, the cat most places quoted me £120 fitted or £100 on its own, could possibly get one from the scrappies for less again and fit it yourself, when ya take all that in its still cheaper than getting a new car nd if your a new driver the insurance is probably expensive enough on a 1.1 so stick with what ya got at the moment, nd after a couple of years think about getting something bigger Wink

Well i can probably do the front wing panel myself, but i have no idea where my local car scrappy are,and i have tried looking on yell for one but don't really give good details on them.
And i was thinking of getting my car serviced, brakes and exhaust replaced in my pug dealer.
And i don't know if you want call myself new driver but i am still on my 1st year so i guess i am still lol,and i did try a quote on a 1.4 307 and insurance cost is same as i am paying my 206 lol.

service your self, i did sparks, filters. their pretty simple to do. oil filter i havent had dont yet, purely because im going to wait til next oil change due.
and brakes and fings, u can get a discount etc. look on kwik fit. also if u have a halfords autocentre near u, or even a halfords, they have leaflets about prices, and discounts atm.
hope that helps

just dont go the the pug dealers, there a rip off when it comes to doing them jobs your better off going to an independent garage or doin it urself, it will save ya in the long run, all my local pug dealers have wee apprentices doing most of the work and most of the time it isn't up to scratch lol
