May as well get the ball rolling on the project thread, although not much has been done.

Over the last year I've modded my 1.4 8v here. Don't know why I decided to move on, guess I just wanted a tidier 206 with more potential.

So a couple of weeks ago I bought this 1.6 16v which I am very happy with Smile .

Most of the last week has mainly been putting the other 206 back to standard and getting it ready for MOT which sadly failed quite badly. But still got some things done.

Firstly got the front lowered, managed to snag the abs cable though I'm not sure if it's working as no light comes on at all on the dash, I think the bulb has gone.

Then I started swapping interior parts round and it started looking an absolute tip Laughing

Got alpine front and rear speakers fitted.

Then gloss black wing mirrors and ultra LED rear lights.

I also found these tweeter covers on ebay, I have no idea what model they are from I persume they are from a newer 206. I think they look a loot better but looks a bit odd being the smooth plastic compared to the fake leather. Will keep them for now and see how it goes.

I also debadged the rear, went horribly wrong as the badges just peeled off the lacquer.

I'm not exactly sure why. My guess is that the tailgate got re painted as the car is a cat d write off and someone has put the badges back on without the lacquer curing.

So the options were a sticker, new tailgate or respray. Decided against all of them and will soon be getting it flushed Smile

That's it so far, would have liked to have got more done but haven't had time.

Also I have an airbag fault and the remote locking doesn't work, I'm guessing the latter is just the battery in the fob? Not sure what to do about the airbag fault.

Cheers for reading

OK hopefully you two are friends in person, if not that's just creepy!

And wow Harry, that's one sexy 206... the lights are nice too! How the hell do you afford this you noob!

Haha kieron just enjoys stalking me Wink . That's the man reason I wanted an xsi as it's pretty nippy already but the option is always there to have some tuning fun. Trying to tune a 1.4 is never really going to work and if it did it would be a bit pointless, that's why I left the engine completely standard.

Cheers for the comments but I'm from far rich Laughing just had a job for the last few years and saved up but I now have no money at all as it's tied up in the other cars. As soon as they are sold I will be able to fund modding this one Smile

Will do soon, but it's only the front Sad I tried doing the torsion bar, only to remember me and 10 year old seized bolts don't go down too well so going to get someone else to do it.

Those wheels are gash, get the ones off the silver on there ASAP.

From the front it looks just like mine, except slower Laughing

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.

The wheels are crap I know, may be able to get a fair bit out of them though. Yeah I'm putting the dished ones on when I've done the lip in a different colour Smile

Cheers for the comments

Fitted the fart box, god knows why I still have it tbh

Also wired in the amp + sub so ICE is complete for now.

As it goes nothing really goes to plan and the torsion bars didn't prove much different. Got the passenger side bar out but the drivers one wasn't going anywhere. So I took it to a garage for them to unseize so I could still do it myself and when I went in to see how they were doing they were knocking the arms out and telling me I had to do it by a certain amount of clicks... oh dear communication error.

Got it home and tried again but as the trailing arm was free that moved as well which confused me a lot but managed to still get the job done slightly different by moving the arm and leaving the bar in thanks to some very helpful people here (you know who you are Very Happy )

I think I have may done the click method without realising, honestly not sure just did it the way I always have just slightly different.

Anyway it looks like this now, ignore the fail debading will be sorted soon.

It's a few mm off the bump stops but I don't think it's too low I have different opinions from different angles.

IMO the rear is a bit low and the wheels a horrible but apart from that...looks bloody excellent, nicely done Harry :D. My 206 is my first car, its only a 1.1 so im not gonna mod it too much but must admit this is the sort of thing that I aspire to as my next car Wink
