i recently spent £80 on a new gear linkage as my other one was wrecked, I do not understand why sometimes I can put it into 1st gear easily and other times it is stiff... this only happens with 1st gear. it's a brand new linkage and I'm already having problems, surely I'm doing something wrong otherwise I want refund >.<

to be honest I get this problem 50% of the time which is just soo strange as sometimes it slides in easily how it should and sometimes stiff that you need to apply more pressure until it "crunches" in gear ??

Will it not go in when you are moving or from standstill? Its normal for it to not go in if you're moving

I get this sometimes, tends to be at the start of the day. Just double clutch a few times then it should be fine. But yeah as they said, sort clutch Smile
