bah dont remind me of insurance for an 18 year old who phones his insurance company and is all..."yeah so ive got a 206 1.4." also i tried to get insurance on our 1.9 citeron...was like 4k. O_o

yeah i just hope after all the work ive had done on it, that its gonna last a while. it really nice to drive long distance, even quite good on the petrol.

usher are you paying for a mechanic to do all your work...or doing it yourself?

just got off phone with my regular mechanic...359 for water pump, timing belt, and coolent with anti-freeze Surprised there goes my wages...

This year so far, (not as bad as the last)

Cambelt, Water Pump, Aux Belt, Clutch + Full service - £650
MOT - £55
Tyres x 4 - £240
Angel Lights - £110
Tax - £70

Fuel - £1000 (Around 5000-5500 miles) Costing about 20p a mile atm!
Insurance - £480 (£120 a month)

The stuff im going to buy of Chris soon - £130

So just over £2700

New coil pack about £55
Spark plugs £0 (already had them)
Comm2000 unit £165 + labour for fitting £...(dont know yet)
So £220 without the labour for fitting the Comm2000 unit Razz

Hmm..Had her since Feb 2011

Insurance = 700.00
MOT = 32.50
Black Lexi Rear Lights = 44.95
Tax (6m) = 68.75
New tyre = 25.00
New brake pads = 22.00
Water cap Laughing = 2.00

Plenty more modding to come this year got a lot of ideas... But as of now the total stands = £895.20 Very Happy

henko wind deflectors - £25
wash mitt and microfibre cloths - £10
gonna refurb my alloys when it gets warmer
gotta change the rad fan aswell
so £285 at the moment

New wing mirror £40
New colour coded front bumper £50
Coil pack £120
MAP Sensor £35
ICV £65
Super 4's £25
ECU Diag' £80
Pre Cat lamda and fitting £80
Insurance probably around £1600
TAX £240
MOT £25

So by June it'll be a grand total of £3325 this doesn't include the tappet work and colour coding I need doing wich is another £600-700

So yeah more than the car is worth this year Sad thanks for that.

**EDIT**Am i winning then?

One thing is for certain, I will listen to my own advice and never buy french ever ever again.

wow...and i thought i was being silly with money on this car...haha. i hope u drive it until those expenive tyres fall off for that kinda cash your forking out.
