Borrow a torque wrench if your that worried
99% of people find FT is good enough on seat bolts.

See what I can find when I have the money. If I can get one with the leather allready in I will, if not I geuss the socket sets will be coming out.

I found there are loads of xsi (for sale that is) but fewer xs which is a shame, insurance was a lot more for me.

What so the XS is cheaper on insurance than the XSI for you?

What so the XS is cheaper on insurance than the XSI for you? |
XS is a lower spec.
Thirsty 8 valve 1.6 engine.
Most XS have rear drum brakes with NO abs.

So I geuss its the same lump as the Saxo VTR then?
Never looked at the XS if im honest. Just the XSI is about £100 more on the insurance for the year than my 1.4 LX so cant complain too much haha

Yep from a 1.4 8v
XS was an extra £17.50
XSI was an extra £551 :l

Jesus that aint good. Was looking at insurance on my 1.4 the other day as mines due in about 6 weeks times just to get an idea. Came up about £1380 I think it was. Put in the reg for an XSI and it came up at £1450. Considering there 7 insurance groups apart seems quite reasonable.

Sounds familiar to how my 1.4 is. Pile of crap haha. Anybody here got any scare stories with the XSI? What kind of MPG am i looking at? What about tax?
