Something smells wrong here.

It sounds like something isnt coded correctly.

Do you have the 4 digit alphanumeric access code to get in to the immobiliser system?

Would have been on a blue plastic card with a silver scratch panel.

PM Lee on here the VIN number as he is a hell of a lot cheaper for the security codes for Pugs then going to a main dealer.

The 4 digit alphanumeric code should unlock the immobiliser & also allow you to check / code the keys.

I had a similar problem to this on my old HDi. Does the fuel pump prime? You can hear the wirring noise? Is it constantly on, or does it go off after a few seconds? The fuel relay is under the ECU in the engine, you can hear it 'charge' if someone turns the ignition on.

Got the car started today, and once started it seemed to start first time every time after, however, the water inlet, where u put the water in was bubbling away like crazy and leaking, this is the first time iv actualy used the car for any length of time. The pressure was unbeleviable it literally blew the top off the water inlet. Water showered me, strange thing was the engine was hot to touch, yet the water that showerd me was both seeding hot and ice cold, I'm thinking either the thermostat is not doing its job or there is a leak. Iv worked on cars a few years now and never seen that kind of pressure. Maybe possible hedpadgasket although there are no tell tale signs.

Sucsess! Totally by accident, a friend was fiddling aboutwith the wires by the ecu, I had worked out that when I could hear the fuel pump prime the car started. Ignition was on and the fuel pump was not priming. Then it did, I asked screamed at my friend what he did, he said nothing. Just moved the wires to get to something else. After fiddling about we could start the car when we needed by putting the wires in a certain position, we could not find any broken wires so it seems strange but non the less true! It must be a loose connector. So the jist of it is, the car is now driveable....woohooo...I'm just going to replace the connectors. BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED, PARTICULARY LEE AND MR BSI. also, the radiator was not wired up hence the heating issue, but also solved. Would appreciate if th mods would leave this thread for a few more days untill I'm hundred percent sure although 99% this is a Peugeot after all !

No there is a dodgy connection in the wiring to the ECU that wouldnt disconnect the immobiliser. The wiring needs sorting but as of last nite i have had no problems.

Can somebody tell me how manualy retract the roof? I can only find videos on how to put it back up again.
