Is the air conditioning turned on? Sometimes when it kicks in ill hear a click and there's a slight dip in power for a second or two

Hi Nashy
How do you mean the ignition clicks when it does it?
Is it like the igniton and dashboard lights go off when it happens then come back on when it wakes back up?
If so then it sounds like a bad earth somewhere that is breaking the electric circuit on the car.
This will cause the electrics to go off and also the solenoid on the diesel pump to switch off resulting in no engine power.
