Id be tempted to try a replacement transponder aerial from a scrapyard first.
Make sure it doesnt rattle when you shake it.

Another question would an autolock company be able to come and do this rather than the cost of recovery

Changing the transponder aerial is simple diy.
Peugeot Planet is the best thing to scan it with.
An auto locksmith should be able to sort the immobiliser out.

thx for your help so far what connector do i need to connect this car up to check it
If its a lexia3 I cant make that im a HW tech but that s beyond me on a easter weekend

The diagnostic socket is behind the flap by the drivers right knee, turn the plastic screw with a coil then lift up / unclip the flap.
You should have already seen the diagnostic socker if you have been in the cabin fuse box 
The transponder aerial is just a simple connector plug

yes ive had the transponder off no problems and reseated, looks like a autolock man on Tuesday, Cant see what happened parked up outside home last night locked fine came outside today and nothing, what a nightmare on good Friday anyway thx for all the tips, Just a pity couldnt get it away the missus is well Pi**ed at me, Enjoy the rest of your weekend

same thing happened to me when I had my Vauxhall Astra. When I changed the FOB battery, a small chip had dropped on the floor and as a result the car got immobilised.
We then had to get another chip and reprogramme.
I am not saying that this is the case with your car, but it could well be a possibility
