ive got the standard clarion cd player in my 206 ive seen on ebay adapters to be able to connect a amplifier to it for a subwoofer. do these work or is there any other way of doing it as i dont really want to change the headunit

just buy a speaker wire to phono adapter and wire it to the rear speakres

will it sound as good as the low tone outputs on after market radios? as im sure speakers are high tone

Yeah its fine.
The sub just does low frequency, so you can connect it to any output and it will do the same.

so if i get 2 rca connectors and wire them up to the rear speaker output on the radio end of the loom it should work fine?
