Just installed some new shocks, took my car out for a drive and there's like a knocking noise from the rear, im guessing it may be the shocks but unsure

Thanks for any help

They shouldnt knock mate. Id guess something is either loose after refitting or there is another problem thats been made worse by the new shocks.

Ive never heard of shocks knocking till they settle in mate. Ive know springs settle in and drop slightly but not shocks.
Id definately get the nuts/bolts checked for tightness, and the only other thing that comes to mind is that there is a worn bush or a knackered beam really.

Yeah just like that but also on flat

Dont think i did the nuts very tight, just tight so you cant loosen by hand

im pretty sure that the rear anti roll bar is inside the rear suspension and if it is then that needs tightning. This is what happend to mine when i got it lowerd. Tightend them up and it was fine Smile
