Hi

The fan doesnt seem to be kicking in at all so the engine gets hot.
I read this can be the thermostat or temperature sensor. Does anyone have an opinion on which I should change first?

Also to note when the AC is on, the temperature goes down but the Fan does still not come on.

Any ideas? Does anyone have a pic of where the thermostat and temp sensor are located on a 1.4 16v?

Thanks

So it's just not coming on at all? Ever?

Well i was just told that the car got hot, then it started beeping and the stop light came on.
Then apparently the fan came on when the needle was in the red zone on the temp reading Sad

Hm.. very strange. I'm not sure on that one, it seems odd that it's reading the right temperature but not responding to it.

I probably have similar issues with my car at the moment too, in that I just don't have a temp reading at all. Just sits at 0.

If it's anything like mine it's pretty obvious, sticking out the side of the engine on the right hand side.
