:'( I want but that sort of money atm is a no no.
I want a set of them Comp TH1780 more than anything else. But I'm now thinking tuck all round for some bizzare reason :S
I'm currently saving up for a stance solutions universal front air kit. Which will allow me to get over speedhumps etc without any problems. The kit complete is £350.
Once the XSi is fully on the road I'm going to press on and get this done. Not alot left to do now so keep your eyes open for updates.

That doesn't sound a bad price for the air kit, especially if you're fitting it yourself?

Na not a bad kit at all mate. A mate of mines just install a full airlift kit to his R32'd MK3 VR6 so he said he'd help me plumb and wire it all in.
Right I know a few people have been waiting on updates and this is going to be quite possible the biggest shock to most people. I know Dan, Lodey and a few others but Ross this will shock you the most.
Found something on eBay agreed a price with the seller and took a trip to oxford. Met him there (it was half way) and came home with these...
I was not pleased to say the least but for what I picked them up for I wasn't going to miss out.
Anyway first things I did was remove all the fake 'split' nuts...
Ordered up a set of 10mm spacers 72.6mm to 65.1mm to get abit of poke on these bad boys
This was the main damage...
I tried to repair it as much as I could but then thought stuff this just get it welded up so it's 100%...
Got the tyres off ready for City Powdercoaters...
A week later and they returned fully powdercoated in Sparkle. With my custom gel centres, these centres will tie in with something I'm going...
Unfortunately where the a******e who owned them hadn't looked after them all the wheels have become corroded so the wheels had hole in where the powdercoat speaped through causing dimples. So had a word and they went straight back and atm being sorted.

Are they actually the set I bought new then? What the hell has happened to that one wheel, it looks a right mess?!
I was going to mention the fact that there were a set of MAM MT1's at City Powdercoaters when I dropped my wheels off, wondered if they were anything to do with you actually, lol.

Yeh mate they actually are the set you bought new and then were repaired, you can notice that they are ours from the two pics where the wheels are side by side and can see the colour differences and also that mark on the wheel from where the polishers have been able to correct it.
Matt sold them to a chap in Southall who treated them like absolute s**te and they popped up on eBay and with 10 days 20 hours to go they came off eBay with an agreed price.
Haha I was going to drop you a message see if you'd spotted them at all seeing as you've dropped you monos off which I'll have a butchers at on Friday when I pop down to pick them up

This reminds me of another set of wheels I sold a long time ago now to a mate's sister and her boyfriend. I'd really made an effort to keep them at their best, then months after selling them I saw them on her car, looked like they'd never been washed, all curbed, totally neglected, I was a bit gutted!
I still remember cleaning and sealing these MAM's regularly in all weathers, neighbours no doubt thought I was crazy. Oh well, at least you're sorting them out now!

A bit of an update...
The MAMs were dropped off about 2 weeks ago and the guys at City Powdercoaters have completely corrected all the wheels so there's no dimples etc. So I'm hopefully popping down Saturday with the Parada Spec 2 tyres and getting them fitted while I'm there and so they've got full responsibility of the wheels.
I've stripped the cars interior back out as I'm having some stuff done. I've bought a set of grey suede doorcards and doorcards from Raz so hopefully get those come through and then I'll get them stripped down and I'll send the surrounds off to be flocked. The plans are to have all the parts of the interior; pillar covers, doorcards surrounds, dashboard etc in Black Flock. I'm currently finding out if I can get the roof lining done as well.
Also I'm looking into the audio side of things and I'm looking at putting together something abit more up market i.e. along the lines of Alpine. If anyones got any suggestions on setups for this car please let me know. Will update Saturday afternoon with pics of the mams fitted to the car

Cheers Craig & Louis.
They are fitted with 10mm spacers all round in addition to them already being ET18...I think I'm going to run 20mm spacers on the back when I get my spacers off Jamie which will allow them to sit out that much further.
Dan's also asked about the wheels if I sell them but I honestly don't think I'll be doing that again with the amount of time I spent tracking these beasts down lol. But if I do, both of you will get first calls on them.
