not ideal to drive it, make sure the temp doesnt get to high else it can blow the head gasket.

i know this sounds odd, but i have known people to put the thermostat in the wrong way, id be temeped to take the thermostat out and drive it that way if it runs cool you know you put it in the wrong way Smile

hehe thanks but I def put it in the right way! Also the car was acting up before changing the thermostat too. (Just tested the old thermostat and it worked fine). What a waste of money!! Sad

its going to be bled tomorrow then if that doesnt solve it then waterpump+belt+tensioners change.
I dont get why the thermostat doesnt open though. The housing side is warm pointing that the coolant is hot but the other side of the thermostat is stone cold hence the radiator being cold.

Unless that means there is a air pocket like right next to the thermostat?

dont know if this is relevant but my engine temp sensor was changed by pug last week for free, as there was a recall on it
