so just undo them till water or air comes out thats it both them , which one first lol dont it matter ? when its cold u mean ?

if there is an air lock it should cause the engine to seriously over heat because one the coolant wont b circulating thro the system and two air heats up more than coolant

no need to drain it.

unscrew 1 till you have constant water coming out then just tighten it up then do the same with the other one Smile

its got to 95 other day in traffic but not in the red top bit or no STOP light
so is really hot though duno what temp is overheating ?

on the HDI there's a problem of the heater matrix getting blocked wich only drops the temp in side the car but there's NO over heating as it still circulates thru the engine

you can try and bleed it to eliminate it but i suggest you find a local garage to check your coolant for the present of exhaust gasses.

so worth bleeding it or just go to mechanic to do it and see what he thinks it is

sniff test would b the first thing i did if i had a vehicle come in to my workshop with a hissing header tank cap. just a very quick way to eliminate it being a head gasket fault

try bleeding it to see if it cures and if it does go ask your mechanic why he had not bled it correctly then look for a new mechanic Very Happy

ok thats what im confused about had coolant changed not long ago thought he wuda done this.
So all i do is turn bleed screw with cap off ? Confused

depends if he knew about the screw at the back for the matrix which is not in plain view Wink
