common sense says failed an mot they aint ok, to be honest i doubt you could see the reflector through them

If the lights were the reason that caused the failure then no they are not road legal but you could just use the phase 1 lights in the next MOT then switch to the tinted if you dont mind driving with illegal lights

The MOT defines the legality of a car. If it fails it's illegal. Kind of simple really. Unless you're Kurtis of course....

Lol think i would rather pass and i guess lesson learned to not buy rear lights done by people themselves,i'm not really complaining since i only paid a tenner for them.
It just means i need go get a new set of black rear lights again.

Mine would fail an MOT epicly so i just take them off for the MOT and switch them back after, i was sold them as legal and i have the paperwork to say that so in the event i get pulled over ill show them that and say i didnt know but as a by the by i havent ever been pulled for them in a year and a half....

lol your a lucky guy then,i've been driving with them since December and haven't been pulled over once or anything. But i have learned my lesson to not buy lights done by individuals.
So where can you actually get legit black lights,i will probably end up buying black lexus lights in future,worried that the black angel headlights on ebay are fake too now lol.
