NOT on a 53 plate you dont Wink

ONE press only of the lock button on the remote fob on a multiplexed 206 to deadlock it!

Pressing the lock button a 2nd time removes the deadlocks leaving the car just on the central locking & will also turn the alarm system OFF ( older BSI software versions only! )

Later BSI software versions the alarm system still stays armed if you do the 2nd button press to remove the deadlocks.

Why would people want to disable the deadlock anyway?

No idea, then again deadlocks on a 206 dont really slow a skilled car thief down Laughing

Nope.
Ain't got it.

Just checked as well and the rear lock connectors have four pins instead of five.
However 5 wires go to them which is why I got fooled.

Trying to sort-out stuck lock-solenoid/motor ATM.
Anyone have a N/S/Rear 4-pin they are selling?
Also interested in O/S/Rear 5-pin. Wink

hmmm interesting i never had a handbook with mine or service history so i just assumed pressing it twice would deadlock it becuase of the clunging noise it makes lol, my alarm still goes off when i press it twice must have the old bsi software on mine.

Handbooks are on the Peugeot website to view for FREE

public.servicebox.peug..._en_us.htm

You have newer BSI software if the alarm goes of without deadlocking being active Wink

One press to deadlock is all you need.

Its a mode of locking whereby the door will not open even if the handle is pulled from
the inside of the car, or the locking pin is lifted (if there is one).

It makes it more difficult for thieving gits to gain easy access by breaking a window
for example and pulling the handle from the inside.

It is also has other uses which I'm not inclined to discuss.

I wouldnt worry if you dont have it as the system fitted to the 206 is pretty simple to beat without damaging the door Wink

Unless you're talking about a scanner (in which case all cars have a problem)
I can't easily see how you'll open the lock without damaging the door.

You can have a go at the key barell but that does not always work.
And it certainly provides additional protection from your average thiving git.

If your adding deadlocking, you need to change the settings in the BSI too
