car failed this morning and was just wandering how much roughly im looking at paying to get it fixed, the fails are as follows:
offside front headlight aim too high
exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content at idle excessive
exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive
nearside rear parking brake recording little or no effort
nearside front brake pipe twisted (found during steering wheel lock to lock check)
parking brake efficiency below requirments

headlight aim isn't hard to fix, pop the bonnet and turn the adjuster, parking brake efficiency could be it just needs tightening up, the other things i have no idea lol, sorry im not a great help!

my dad said max 200 which i dont mind but he aint got a clue to be honest lol
reckon it just seems to be the emissions causing me the most problems might just get a new exhaust haha

sorry to seem patronising but have you tried googling it? it might be able to help and tell you what's causing the problem

well should think a new cat and brake pipes will be about 200-250 with labour and the parking brake wont be much. and the headlight is a 2 minute job

brake pipe is cheap. (will need brake fluid too.)
might need a new cat/ O2 sensor. post out the whole emission reading is helpful.
tighten up handbrake cable.

Fill up with Shell v power before the test and have a good run it for at least half an hour. What was the emission reading?
Check your nearside handbrake cable to make sure its not snapped. If thats ok then the shoes may need adjustment.
Headlamp adjustment, as been mentioned
Take it you mean the flexipipe is twisted. Is it wrapped round a suspension part? Might just need moving so that it runs along the correct path. Difficult to tell without seeing it. If you can get a pic then it will help.
