Drove to FCS last night in my 180 with some friends, enjoyed the day today... drove home and my rear engine mount decides to give up and snap on the way, which then snapped the gear linkage cable. Luckily it was only about 10 miles from my house so RAC managed to tow me home Wall Bang

Is this a possible 'home fix' job? Or am I going to have to get it garage repaired?

Also, where can I get some decent engine mounts that aren't soft as s**t and sheer off the car?

Rant over.

Rock Onnnnn..

Don't uprate just one mount, they are designed to work together. Fitting original mounts with uprated mounts means the engine can move the uprated mounts more than they want to be moved.

Also don't buy from Spoox when they just sell Vibra Technics mounts with a Spoox label on them.

Anyway, what broke on the rear mount? Is it something an uprated mount would fix? I imagine it isn't.

I was planning on uprating all of them, I just need telling which ones i should buy. Apparently ragging it home from fcs did it but we weren't even driving hard most of the time, just the odd blip at traffic lights on dual carriage ways :/. but it could have been damaged in the crash i had
