*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***

Time

we shall be aiming to meet between half 9 and 10 if people wishing to go on the dyno could get there as early as possible then it would be much appreciated

Travel

as far as i know there are not any major roadworks around the area. However, please be aware that it is Leeds festival this weekend to expect heavier traffic than normal. Also for those travelling from further a field remember it is also reading and creamfields festivals so traffic around these areas may be heavy,

i advise that you check the highway aggencies website

if anyone knows of any more roadworks/traffic problems then let me know and i will add them to the list

also as can be seen on the first map below there are a series of roundabouts near rs tuning itself which, 1 in particualr, can cause people problems where you can find yourself being in the inside lane then all of a sudden neading to be in the outside lane with another lane between you so please be aware of this i would advise not only using a sat nav but also look at the route you will be taking on either a map or online before setting off and maybe even taking these with you

if people want my phone number then either pm me or leave me a note in the topic and i will send you it via pm

On Arrival

please come and find me as i like to introduce myself and make sure everyone has arrived safely. if we have as good a turnout as last time then it was hard for me to meet everyone as they came but i like to meet and have a good chin wag with everyone Smile

this is especially important if you are going on the dyno as may not recognise you on the day although i with have a list of people with me

if you wernt at the last rs tuning meet then its quite likely you wont know who i am but i will be the guy carrying round a pad of paper and im sure someone will point you in the right direction Very Happy

thanks again people

look forward to seeing you all

Sam

NOW BOOKED!

I rang up this morning and booked it for the 27th August as it was the most popular date by far!

If people could now confirm that they are:
a) attending
b) dyno
c) food

Only reason I mention food is that if we have a rough idea of how many people will be joining us at Frankie & Benny's I can book in advance which will make things alot alot easier Smile

Also remember that ALL cars are welcome but if you are brining a non-206 please state what car it is as again this just makes it easier for organising on the day

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys

Sorry for the lack of RST meets this year but this one is definitely going a head!

the price for going on the rolling road is:

£40 pp if we have 5 or more cars or
£35 pp if we have 10 or more.
Each car gets 3 runs usually and a print out of torque and bhp read outs.

However, the meet is open to those who don't wish to go on the rolling road and instead just wish to attend the meet as there is a large meeting area where we get photos and stand around and chat.

After all the cars which wish to go on the rolling road have had their chance we will head to frankie and bennies to grab a bite to eat.

If those interested in the meet could vote which date is best and then comment below if they would be going on the rolling road and will be attending for food after then I can get a better idea of numbers. If you are free on more than one occasion also write this in your comment as I will try my best to please everyone.

I will leave the poll running for a week so that I can get it booked and so that dates dont get booked up!

The address for RS Tuning is:

8 Castleton Close
Leeds
West Yorkshire
LS12 2DS

Their website can also be found HERE

Any more information that is required let me know and I'll get it sorted.

Hope to see you all there!

Sam

This area has been looked into briefly in the past and in reality its hard to do. We would have to have a group booking all at once but then they can only do 2 cars a day as they take half a day to have custom remaps which is what everyone is after really rather than a generic one.

Could be done but would take some organising. I your serious about it give Paul a ring their number is on the website

Tbh, if it's a t-diesel, it won't take half the time and they are just fine with generic mapping more often than not. It's petrols that need the fine tuning.
