hi
my car has just passed her mot only for the gearbox to go. basically it smelt funny then i couldnt go any where just crawl. the mot has some advisory bits on it too this is the list: passenger rear and driver rear brake hose slight corrosion to ferrules, front exhaust deteriorating, passenger front and driver front lower suspension arm rubber mounting deteriorating, driver and passenger front coil spring, passenger front and rear brake pipe.
where is the cheapest place for these parts, so far i have found the cheapest gearbox is £156. there must be cheaper???
help please.
i really need this car to work for school runs and to build up a no claims as i'm a new driver.
