hey guys, my radio doesnt work....well it does but doesnt
i turn on ignition and display is blank radio doesnt come on and none of the buttons work on radio or steering control stalk ( radio one )
however if i put a cd in it plays still nothing on display and i can control the track and volume but still cant switch to radio or have anything on the display. but then when i got to turn the car off it still plays the cd and i cant turn it off only way is taking the CD out and then it stops?!
any suggestions? would a BSI reset do the trick?
cheers

Are all the cables in correctly at the back??
Maybe time for a new head unit, but I know jack about audio so its just a long shot.

I doubt a BSI reset will do anything, sounds like the head units died to me.

I'd have thought any 206 headunit would work in your car as long as you had the code.

Plexed ones dont have codes, they are linked to your vin or something like that.
Pre plexed do have codes and are interchangable though

If its not the original Peugeot radio that was fitted as standard, it needs VIN coding.
Or is it aftermarket?

If everything is plugged back in, all the fuses are ok and it still won't boot up after you've had the battery off and on, then its should shafted
