Just went out for a drive in the 180 and found that the front end got abit twitchy on acceleration (not hard acceleration) just abit more than normal driving, its like it wants to go to the right and it just doesnt feel how it should, any ideas what this could be? broken spring?

Thanks

Luke.

Check tyre pressures, or it could have just been the camber of the road?

my car does it and i need new cv joints.

Could be a number of things really.

Just do what was suggested above and if your still worried, alot of garages will check your car over for free.

Yeah could be the tyre pressures, the black wheels haven't been on a car for about 5 months, so ill have to check them, and i dont think it was the camber of the road it done it afew times in different locations, it just feels like its not safe hmm :/

Might want to check if your tyres arent warped then, mine were off the road for a while and all the tyres had "egged" in the middle.

Common one is the wishbones bushes. If you floor it then it will pull one way lift off hard and it will go the other.

Change them both only £60 off ebay for a set

206 180 rally car in progress. I may not be perfect but there are parts of me that are f£%$ing brilliant

Think ive found out what the problem was, The previous owner has had a new wishbone fitted, and the wishbone wasn't fitted tight to the hub, so there was movement in it. Went to tighten it up but it just wouldn't tighten, so removed the nut and the threads in the nut was fu***d, So going to replace the whole nut and bolt today and it should sort it out fingers crossed Very Happy
