Had my puglet in for its MOT today, failed for the 3rd year running - awesome!
This time it's the exhaust: major leak from the front pipe. The test centre quoted me £374 to get it done to which I said thanks but no thanks or words to that affect!
What sort of price should I be looking for for this does anyone know? Thanking ya'all

If its the downpipe, its about £70 for a stainless one. If your cat is on the downpipe, then it could be anything from £100 - £300.
If its the manifold, it could just be a gasket, or if its split, you could get a cheap second hand one. No idea how much though.

Start your car, get a mate to cover your tail pipe with a rag and the palm of their hand. Stick your head under the bonnet and see if you can identify where the leak is. You might need to move your hand over the joints but you should feel where the leak is.

You might only need a new clamp or to tighten one up. Its a minor issue.
