Some woman reversed into me in a car park the other day and just drove off. I followed her, got the reg and went straight to the police station to report it.
The police rang me the same morning to tell me that they had contacted her and she has 14 days to contact me or she will be prosecuted.

You're lucky there isn't damage to the bumper and light too.
Just wait for the police now. Like it has been said, it is an offence to fail to stop and exchange details at the scene of an accident.
Make sure you claim the £3.75 back from her too that it cost you to check the MID. No point being out of pocket for everything.

my car is low, (well lowest car iv ever had,) she was driving a people carrier, those toyota things, i have no idea how she hit me so high up.... Police just told me the car is not registered or insured, and the best they can do is put a marker on it.

report her it is a criminal offence to drive off, so she will be in a lot of bother! would give you piece of mind too i would imagine! Try using a dent pull to pull the dent out!

Moral of the story: if you ever get hit by another vehicle, make sure you get out and beat them unconscious before they can escape
