try some t cut and a bit of elbow grease, if there's no change just put the badge back on

are you sure its paint and not glue? get a rubber pencil eraser on it and rub with a bit of pressure

T-cut should work. Mine looked worse than this but after t-cut no marks at all. good luck

Tht looks like left over glue. Get some petrol a rag and give it a good rub and it will come off

Just went out armed with a rubber, its definatly paint, I can feel the surface difference when i rub my fingers over it, The boot was re-sprayed around Feb, im assuming the bloke bodged up masking over the tag's, and didnt remove them

Mine has mark's left, Not as bad as your's but given up on T-Cut, Will be getting it machined out when I can be arsed.

T-cut and polish it out, if there is any glue residue then use white spirits but make sure you wash the white spirits off afterwards.

Stuck it back on, T-cutted the hell out of it with no success, I think the section would need spraying over to bring the paint flush

just keep an eye out on ebay for a cheap tailgate, can play around with it then and still have the original spare, dewiper and debadge it if you do that

That gap on the right above the rear light doesnt look good.... never seen one like that before.

The whole of that section is slightly out of line, I was in a crash and it deformed all of the rear driver quarter.
