...is a friend indeed Wink

Anyway... Just need a quick bit of advice on how much i should be paying to have my clutch replaced on my XSi? The problem is the release baring but my bigger problem is the quote my local garage just gave me... £300+ vat for the kit and 4 hours labour. This to me seems expensive or is it just me being tight Laughing ?

Even better if anyone could do it or knows anyone that could for a more reasonable price or in exchange for my detailing services plus some cash Smile

Thanks in advance.

PM me for Valeting & Detailing services at great rates!
Detailing Guides are also available ask me for more information.

Getting a clutch replaced is a very expensive job iirc it cost me £285 but i dont pay VAT on labour. So thats probably about right.

I got quoted £170 for just the clutch. Then the gearbox decided to go so had them do both together so it was £350 for a recon box and a brand new valeo clutch. I dont think i would pay over £200 for it to be done.
