Had my car into the garage on friday for tracking to be done, and the guy said when he drove it he heard a rumbling kind of noise or like something shaking, and I must admit I'd heard it but assumed it was the stiffened suspension.
This happens even on virtually flat roads, quite often on turning!
Any clues as he says all the suspension bits are ok?

Could be a bearing gone if your getting a rumbling noise?

I get this too, all my bearings appear to be fine.
Are your tyres inflated correctly.

Check for abnormal tread wear, especially on the back.
I had the problem on my GTi.

yeah tyres ok, Im wondering if its summat to do with exhaust, as I have the problem of low power from setting off, Im gonna re-clamp that first, bearings were all checked out, if the exhaust dont sort it I think I'll have another look at bearings and bushes etc.
