Up until today my car idled at 75000rpm while stationary but noticed today it's dropped down to about 60000rpm, the engine doesn't seem to sound any different than before so is this normal or does the idle control valve just need adjusting?

Turned the AC off?

Dropping 150 is a lot. The normal tolerance is about 50

How do you adjust them??
I'm intrigued because this 500 rpm crap is doing my head in!
Car stalls occasionally too, when warm.
Ive cleaned the MAP sensor which does seem to have improved things.

This.

Remove the paperclip like clip and pull the cable until you feel the revs rise. Then replace the clip so it holds the cable in the new position.
