The gear changing is feeling more stiffer and more 'rock-like' than before. Does this mean additional gearbox oil is needed? If so can someone tell me where to top up and what one I need or do I need to go to garage to get this done?
I know the 206 is known to have a bad gear system anyway but mine is just awful and off the lines and hope to make it a bit smoother with oil.
Thanks in advance!

Wouldn't harm to change it. You can fill it up via a black plastic plug on top of the gearbox but you have to remove the battery and tray.

A funnel and a piece of plastic tube will save a lot of trouble removing anything

I hope you are not insinuating that I am a chav because if so, you sir are a fool.
