thort ide pop a question my gti 180 doesant like beeing reved when its first started although it will tick over smoothly
would this be Engine coolant temp sensor

Thats what my car doing in cold start when tank fulled 97 octane gas. With 95 octane dont do that.

Have both of you get induction kits on your car???? like the typhoon kit or bmc kit??

Mine also does this i just assumed it was to try and stop you thrashing it from cold.

Mine is complete stock induction. Even stock panel filter. And my hot air pump for cold start is working. As i said. Its only doing when coldstart with 97 octane. Maybe different sparks or more ignition advanced remap fix that.
