Black is far, far, worse than Silver to keep clean, I clean my car, and do all the usual finishing on it, within 2 days the roof (Black) is ready for another clean whereas the rest of the car (Silver) is still looking nice and shiney..

Although I have to agree, Black is sooo much easier to get a wet look and depth with than silver.. Cant have the best of both though eh?

I like the challenge of getting a nice wet look on silver Cool

PM me for Valeting & Detailing services at great rates!

Cheers rrtam, and the calipers are getting done on Tuesday when I'm off work next pal, the front badge is having the lion sprayed black and the outer bit is going silver, or maybe staying red depending how it looks

I think painting the lion black and leaving the outer bit red works very well, I've just done a quick PS

Black cars are quite hard to keep clean, especially dust settling on the car after a day or two! Best thing is to layer it with wax so the dirt comes off easier. Only problem is trying to dry the car when it beads alot

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.
