well my partner and me have been tinkering on with my gti 180 today, just found out all harness mounting points are difrent to my old gti138, i meen diffrent as in bolt size.. harness eye bolts will not fit they are to big , anyone else found this out.......

100% sure they are the same size.

well so were we but they are not... tryed and tryed again difrent thread and to small example its like trying to put a 9mm bolt on a 10mm nut

measure the orginal seatbelt bolt to see what they are?

sounds odd though.......

which mounting point you mean btw?

pretty sure front seat top belt(B-pillar) and lower belt (B-pillar) are 7/16" UNF

although i am not sure about the bolt size for the seat belt buckle.

don't need a pics to be honest....

just get the measurement of the OEM bolts will do....

although the bolts shape look like the right one, but without any measurement it is hard to tell.

but for some reason all seat belt bolts i have got are black (OEM bolts)

Well either your harness bolts are the wrong ones, or you putting them in to the wrong places.

You CAN buy eye bolts that are not 7/16 UNF.

OEM seat belt screws are

7/16"20 LONG 47 - bolt that holds belt that goes on your lap
7/16"X20-8 - shoulder bolt
7/16X20 LONG 10,5 - buckle


7/16"X20 LONG 35 - rear under seats
7/16"X20 LONG 35 - rear seats holding belt across lap and shoulder
