Yesterday i rebuilt my rear axel with new bearings as they was alot off play in them but the kit didnt come with the 4 offset washers

could anyone tell me the part numbers for them as ive looked on service box and cannot see them also a price please

It's either the washers or the torx bolts but one of them you have to buy in a bag of 10 ..

But you said there was a lot of play, last car i did with this chewed up the main axle tube have you replaced this?

Hope the bearings where greased up on installation & not just fitted in the axle with just the shipping oil on to lubricate them.

that was how it was done, plenty off cleaning and bearing greese was used on it

It had about 5mm off play but when it was stripped and cleaned the shaft was checked all round with a vernier caliper and was bang all the way round too so maybe it was caught in time
