Really annoying how it defaults to AC and not ECO and loses my fan settings/blower distribution... sometimes does and sometimes doesn't.

Any ideas?

I also find it annoying on my 180 that it goes onto A/C instead of ECO straight away...

I just leave mine in AUTO all the time, I just adjust the temp as & when needed.

Sometimes during winter time I even press the rapid windscreen demist button Laughing

I didn't say I didn't know how it worked, I said it annoys me when you turn climate control off, then once you turn the engine off then return to it will come on automatically, It should remember that it was turned off and stay off until you turn it back on.

Haha, Well would you care to explain how climate control works, so I am able to broaden my knowledge of the cabin heating and cooling process Wink

The reason why i want it off is because my aircon has packed in. Once upon a time i'd leave it on auto and it was fine.

But as i've no aircon.. I want the fans on 2 and the air directed into the face level vents... be nice if it came back on as i left it!

Not the end of the world, anyway. it's only my lasses work car only trundles a few miles up and down the A1 through the week.

Stop being tight & get it regassed then OR get the climate control system deactivated in the BSI configuration set up with Peugeot Planet, either way its gonna cost.

Not read the manual on it but doesn't it turn the air conditioning back on when it detects a high level of heat in the cabin when you switch the ignition on?
