Could Some Kind Chap Tell Me If there's Any Differences Between Standard And GTI 206 Door Mirrors ?

gti ones are gloss black instead of the black plastic
youll need to match up the plugs on the door loom too if you have electric mirrors

the cap? yeahh it just pops off  just get a knife under it and twist it, itll pop it and off, there's a lip which curls over the bit above the glass too

As long as the mirror connector plug is the same colour as the one on the car then yes.
Also mirrors with plastic base plates use different fixing screws to mirrors with metal base plates.
