My 2nd ever attempt at detailing and I wish I had never started... my arms are dead!
Also fancied the opporunity to take some pics while she was lovely and clean although Ive been finding it really hard to get a nice deep reflective shine on silver, any ideas?

Good work, you should perhaps consider using a glaze between the polish and wax to add depth. Sealants usually offer a crisper more reflective finish than waxes as well so you could try one of them out.

You'll never get great shine from a silver car mate, my silver Gti had the clean of it's life and only looked like this
Where as my black one is really easy to get a reflective finish but is a pig to keep clean

Cheers mate, my silver Gti looks no cleaner than yours did, and the products you used are all good, I'd try using a clay bar when you next clean, also I'd listen to Jordan above he knows his cleaning stuff

I used a bilt-hamber clay bar as it seemed the most recommended on Detailing World and it only requires water as lubricant.
What glaze and sealant would you suggest Jordan?
