Hi there,

Came home from work today to find my drivers footwell flooded with about 3" of water. There was no obvious leakage that I could see.

Is this a common problem? There is not rust on the door, the windows were up etc. I know im being a bit vague, but anyone ideas?

Thanks

Jordan

Snap on the passenger door, no idea how's it's getting in, I've checked seals and taken the door card off, still not sure lol. Only in heavy rain though

Very common problem. (happened to me)

Its either the heater matrix flooding in or the door card seal.

Its usually the seal inside the door, costs about 25 quid from stealerships and you can either do it yourself or pay to get it done.

I good sign is there could be a very narrow stream of water coming in which thens floods most of the floor.

£50 tops.

Will be the sound proofing on the door card.

Tube of silicone and seal it up

This morning driver off in the down pour there was water dripping from my interior light. I assume something is not sealed correctly from the antenna? This is why I can't get my car washed with those automatic washers, it will form a puddle directly onto the gaiter.

Mine was shot to pieces so I needed a new one. You could do a DIY job too but for the sake of 25 quid for the perfect fit.

Mine hasn't leaked since and that was 2 years ago.

I have changed the speakers actually, I'll have to have a go with the silicon tube glueing the White thing back down. Now to solve the bouncing locks lol
