I am getting varying answers, by searching the forum and by talking to dealers.
I know the transponder can only be coded once. No Problem.
But what of the circuit board? Dealer says one programme game over. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks

when i went to see lee, he said it depends on whether your bsi can handle more than one key, he coded a new transponder for me so it starts the car but it wont work the central locking therefore my bsi only handles one key

Any way of knowing in advance if BSI can handle more than one? I currently only have one (non remote) key, so I don't know which version of circuit board I have.

there isnt a way to know so the only way is to get one done
- once the transponder is programmed and the fob circuit sync'd to the the car - thats when you test the result
get in touch with lee, hes a top bloke Smile

Yes, Wrong country unfortunately.
However, I can get a secondhand key, transplant my blade and transponder, and in theory, I should be able to get it RE-programmed to work with my car? Yes?

exact same outcome for me (i have PP2000). out of interest, what year and spec of 206 do you have?

i delved into some menus on PP and saw that there is room for 2 RF keys, maybe i just got a dud board.

It's a 2004 SW 1.4 petrol, bought it last week, with just one (non remote) key.
