Good question.............Work this out
My old car needed a clutch(was a Ford) Cost aprox £150 to buy.
I work at Luk so i asked for staff discount, Aprox £110.
I phoned our main distributor in Herford and got a price posing as a customer £90 plus delivery £10.
I phoned a garage aprox 15 mile from where i live £70
When i asked the MD of LuK Sheffield how this was possible he replied
"our main distributor (Herford) gets supplied in bulk therefor can offer their own discounts direct to the public and if supplying a trade garage can offer them increased savings depending on how many they supply them in a year.
Unbelievable !! i build them but can buy them cheaper from a garage than i can from the factory i work at.
The moral of this story............... Shop around.
And before anyone says nick one from where you work....is it worth losing you job for £150 . Not for me it isn't.

Are you sure its a self adjusting kit your after. I didnt think the 1.4 was a self adjusting clutch kit?

The cable on this car is 100% self adjusting.

Look it up on Peugeot Service Box yourself if you dont believe me!

Correct.

That's why you get the characteristic 'click' problem on some of them.
