Stepper motor is around the back side of the inlet control valve. Find where the throttle cable attaches to the ICV and then look around the back of that. It's just held in with two bolts. Remove it and clean the valve end
Look on eBay for stepper motor picture so you know what you are looking for

Don't take the ICV off, the stepper motor is just an attachment, a small part of the ICV assembly.
Item 4. Just two bolts and it's out

Well... Today we took the complete throttle body of... cleaned it right out, and the same with the stepper motor/icv...
We pluged it into a computer.. for it to say everything is working as it should... all bar the CTS coolent temp sensor... would this make it struggle to start, and rev like it does.
The computer was saying the cts temp was -40degrees...
Thanks for your input once again.

Yes, very much so and that's no good, that's a default extreme low temp and as low as it goes. Sounds like it's open circuit. Disconnect the ETS and spray the contacts with electrical contact cleaner (nothing else) as maybe they have become tarnished
You could check the resistance across the ETS terminals and see if it lies within this chart. If it does then the ECU isn't receiving the message

To be honest, i think i will just get a new one for the cost of £10 or something at my local motor factors. Just didnt have enough time to get that today as they had shut.
So -40 degrees isnt good, and would make it do the hole revving and struggle to start thing?
Thanks

Oh yes, the ETS is a major player in good starting and engine idling

The CTS has seemed to solve the revving problem and is now reading 70ish degrees...
Cheers guys!

Hi Guys,
It seems like the ETS was the solution for the revving and starting issue. As I have the exact same problem on my 206 1.1 (V REG) Can you tell me what exactly the ETS is or stands for so as to try and have mine replaced?
Thanks,
